Townsend Press is offering cash scholarships to developmental college students who read 10, 20, or 30 books between now and May 31, 2007. See the rules at Townsend Press.

They're doing something great!
Check out the Do Something BRICK Award Winners. BRICK honors 6 outstanding leaders age 18 and under and 3 outstanding student leaders age 19-25 who use their talents to take action that strengthens their local communities. For the 2007 Do Something 2007 BRICK Awards closed Dec. 1, 2006. BRICK Finalists will be notified on or before Dec. 18, 2006. It's never too early to start planning for the 2008 awards!

The Youth Advocates of the Year Awards, sponsored by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, honor the outstanding work of young advocates who have taken the lead in holding the tobacco industry accountable for their efforts to market their products to youth.
2007 Winners will receive scholarships and grants!
National Winner: $5,000 scholarship + $500 grant
Each Regional Winner: $2,500 scholarship + $500 grant
Group Winner: $2,500 grant
International Grant Winner: $2,000 grant |
